The method

How a Flames pizza is made

  1. 01

    The dough

    Flour, water, salt and time. We rest every ball for 48 hours so it bakes light, chewy and full of flavour.

  2. 02

    The sauce

    Tomatoes crushed by hand with garlic, olive oil and a pinch of Sri Lankan chilli. Nothing from a can of paste.

  3. 03

    The fire

    Into the oven at 450°C for about ninety seconds. Dark leopard spots on the crust mean it is ready.
